Non-profit organization Stringwiki was founded in 2023 and its Yearly Report and Financial Report for 2023 will be published in 2024. The Violinwiki project existed before Stringwiki has been established, 2022 Yearly Report before legal existence is available.
After the stagnation during the Covid years 2020-2021, the changes started already during the last quarter of 2021. Violinwiki was upgraded from the Mediawiki version 1.29-2 to the version 1.37.1 in January and to the version 1.38-2 in June. The server was streamlined and the main server was upgraded to serve the increased traffic with the bigger disk capacity and memory; the first upgrade was made in January and the second one in October. The remote server monitoring has been improved. Violinwiki was also made IPv6 compliant and Mediawiki MobileFrontend extension was permanently installed (including MinervaNeue skin and MobileDetect extension) for improving access for mobile users. Mobile pages redesign has begun. Caching and cache purging has been implemented to speed up response. Full text elastic search has been implemented, search is now on par with Wikipedia.
As of December 31, 2022 Violinwiki contained 8 104 pages and the number of edits reached 56 085.
During 2022
Během roku 2002 (January 1 - December 31) Violinwiki was accessed 2 374 172 times, provided data was 58.60 GiB. Violinwiki has 110 349 unique human visitors using desktop, mobile or tablet.

Infrastructure
After two hardware upgrades in 2021 Violinwiki servers are stable and ready for the content growth in 2023 and web traffic connected with the growing content. There were two hardware upgrades of the main server, the first in January (RAM 2GB -> 4GB, HD 15GB -> 30GB), the second in October (RAM 4GB -> 8GB, HD 30GB -> 60GB, 1 processor -> 2 processors). Another capacity upgrade may be needed by the end of 2023 including test and development servers.
Project Status
Some projects have already been successfully completed (Suzuki repertoire for preschool students and younger students)
or are close to completion (Scales).
